PAAFAA-Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Training Partnership

 

The PA-AFAA is pleased to announce a training partnership with the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC), a premier organization with state of the art facilities serving the construction industry.  ABC offers critical and pointed training to the construction industry, year round.  The training ranges from OSHA safety training certification to full time apprenticeship programs from their offices in East Norriton, PA as well as their training facilities in Kulpsville, PA.

LEGISLATIVE ALERT!

A State bill has been introduced that will require an Electrical License to perform any electrical work over 10 volts! This bill encompasses fire alarm and most low voltage systems that we provide.  This Bill will put serious limitations on our industry!  If you derive your living installing or servicing fire alarm or other low voltage systems (under 30 volts) this affects you!  Attached is a link which explains the Bill- Now is not the time for complacency- it's a time for action!  Do SOMETHING before it's too late!

PAAFAA NOW ACCEPTS PAYPAL FOR ALL CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

The PA. Regional AFAA now accepts online credit card transactions using E-Bay's PayPal.  Using PayPal to pay dues, seminar enrollment, any AFAA payable is an easy process.  First, before using this service you must set up a PayPAl account.  This account is free.  PayPal is used by both buyer and seller on E-bay, where thousands of transactions happen daily.  For more information visit the PayPal web site at PayPal.com .  The Recipients Name is linked to paybill@paafaa.org.    You will receive, by email, a receipt of your transaction.
